Activities Overview

Activities have become a large part of Care Home life and here in Duffryn Ffrwd Manor it is no different. Our Activities Co-ordinators are constantly striving to find new and exciting things for our residents to try and do.  With many years experience as care givers before moving to Activities all our staff understand that our residents can and are wanting to continue experiencing the simple routines and hobbies they had whilst in there previous homes.  

With this in mind the activities schedule is ever changing to try and find that one thing that might entice your loved one to join in, be it "Around The World" themed days to allow residents to experience the worlds cultures from the comfort of their chairs and hopefully bring forth some memories from their own past experiences, an excursion to a local focal point or it could be the smell and taste of fish and chips at the seaside that might get the senses going. 

Whatever it is that our residents enjoy doing, our hard working Co-ordinators strive to find a way for them to continue doing it.
